Jo Augustus

Jo is a CBT Therapist with extensive experience working with neurodivergent adults. Her practice is neurodiversity-affirming and grounded in a whole-person approach, informed by both clinical expertise and lived experience.

Alongside her clinical work, she works in academia, has authored books, and her research focuses on mental health outcomes and inequalities, particularly in relation to access, assessment pathways, and lived experience.

She founded The Beacon Hub in response to the long waiting times many adults face when seeking autism and ADHD assessment, with the aim of offering a clear, ethical, and person-centred pathway. At The Beacon Hub, she contributes to NICE-informed, multi-disciplinary autism and ADHD assessments, supporting clear understanding and meaningful outcomes.
